Dynamic Identity

I explore the intricate nature of the body, viewing it as a dynamic entity intertwined with a multitude of processes, ideas, and relationships. By challenging the traditional belief in a singular and unchanging identity, I embrace the principles of new materialism. This perspective allows me to delve into the fluidity and perpetual evolution of the body, uncovering its interconnections with external influences and acknowledging the continuous transformative forces that shape it.

Rather than perceiving the body as a static entity, I celebrate its multiplicity, recognizing that it is not easily confined within defined boundaries. The body emerges as a result of material practices and intricate relations, shaped by the effects of various interactions. It defies easy categorization, blurring the lines of where it begins and ends, as it continually transforms and adapts.

By embracing the multiplicity of the body, my artwork serves as a catalyst for contemplation and dialogue. It invites viewers to question the notion of a unified and essentialized self, encouraging them to explore the transformative power of material practices and relationships.
